Winter Competition Raffle Draw Announcement

The Winter Competition raffle was drawn by Ivy Jeffrey in the presence of the Secretary Gillian Collom and the Raffle Coordinator Marelle Bradford. The winner is Pam Grabbe of Oxlades. As she is such a good supporter of the Society, it's a nice thought that she now owns Christine Clark's painting Venice Market Place.

Our Society

was established in Brisbane, Queensland, in 1985 and has progressed from its formative years to now include over 200 enthusiastic members. These include members from right around Australia as well as overseas who find pastel an ideal medium through which to express their artistic talents.

Our Vision

is to promote the art of soft pastel painting through the provision and facilitation of various activities.

Our Membership
comprises artists at all levels of their professional development. We encourage and support beginners to advanced pastellists. A number of our members are full time professional artists who are only too delighted to share their knowledge with those who seek such assistance. Membership is open to all those who have an interest in the art of soft pastels, whether a painter or a connoisseur of the arts.
